Sculpture: Drum Rhythm No. 11
An 18-foot tall steel sculpture weighing 3,500 pounds, this art piece was created by Fletcher Benton and donated by his daughter, Ashlie. This impactful sculpture serves as an artistic centerpiece for the area, complimenting the design elements of the nearby San Pedro Creek Culture Park. The donation of this piece was facilitated through the university’s close partnership with Centro San Antonio and is now part of the UTSA Art Collection.
